Wow it’s not very often I get the opportunity to represent the seller of a 2 flat building in Evanston. This 100 year old building has 2 tenants so coordinating showings, inspections etc was challenging. I had to keep in mind that they are doing me a favor. I’m intruding on their family time.
At the end of the day though I want the best for my seller who is the landlord. Whatever I need to do to reach Successfully Sold. We did showings on two holiday weekend days. With 3 offers to present the seller picked one. As it turned out that contract didn’t stick so we went to the back up offer. They were thrilled to have a 2nd shot at this investment. It’s hard to find a building especially one that is fully rented for income on day 1. Along the way I assisted the seller with menial but essential tasks like meeting the appraiser, repairman, making keys, meeting Junk Remedy, and even handling last minute cleaning. Whatever it takes! I get paid to solve problems. Who do you know who has a challenge? Bring it to me. Successfully Sold!
