When selecting a color, we sand out a section and test them out. The trend is lighter floors. I wanted something in between
Did you know you can mix stains to get a custom color? That’s what we did here.
Once you select your favorite color, determine if you want oil based finish or water based. The water base is a bit more costly because it’s labor for 3 coats instead of 2. But you don’t have the smelly chemicals lingering for months and it’s stronger protection against pets and activities.
