The perfect summer picnic at Ravinia Festival can be simple, yet elegant with a few tips. We are in the heart of the summer 2023 season at my favorite music festival. If you are planning a concert, go early to enjoy the lawn. The gardens are gorgeous, the trees provide shade, it’s a lovely walk around the park. Pile up your trunk with a wagon, chairs, blanket, table. Throw in your basket wine opener, table cloth, citronella candle, serving stuff. Some of my favorite food items include spiced salami, goat cheese, kalamata olives, cherries, grapes, heart crackers, sushi, baguette, picante peppers, caprese salad. If you forgot to pack dessert, I highly recommend heading over to the Ravinia Market where you will find Cappuccino Crunch ice cream-so rich and creamy! What concerts do you enjoy?
