Spring is my favorite season in Northbrook IL. After the cold, windy winter with snow or not depending on the year I love to see the tulips, daffodils and especially magnolias. It will be here soon! We are fortunate to have the Chicago Botanic Gardens nearby. They have a Best Magnolias for the Midwest program coming up on Saturday, April 30. No tree says spring like a blooming magnolia.
Muddy yard? Take your furry friend over to the Northbrook Dog Park at Coast Guard Park. Part of the park district this dog-friendly park will give your pooch room to roam off leash.
Check out Northbrook’s new TPAC! Techny Prairie Activity Center opened last year and has something for everyone. There’s a 2nd floor track, open gym for basketball, cardio equipment and event rental space for starters. It’s an environmentally friendly building with solar panels to create a net zero facility.
